As we grow into this beautiful space, some wonderful outdoor (and indoor) activities are planned for this generous community. Some events are planned by partners and others are simply an invitation to show up at the barn, in the sanctuary, or quietly walking the pathways. All events are open to the public; please note where registration is required. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into this nature inspired community.

Community Event

Come find us in the Exhibit Hall at the Duke Caregiver Community Event, where Bluestemmers will be providing information about conservation burial, sharing about opportunities for folks to connect, rest, and reset in nature at Bluestem, and getting to know our local caregiver community. More info and registration here.

Bluestem is a place of reverence for people of all faith traditions to connect with the sacred in nature. Come get to know this place, find more information about conservation burial and Bluestem's natural sanctuaries, and let us know more about how Bluestem can serve you and your faith community. Quiet Hour at Bluestem

Every Friday at Noon

A slowing down time for everyone. Park in the parking area and walk to the Woodland Sanctuary, just west of the Barn. Benches overlooking the pond await you. If you prefer more movement, pathways and shady areas around the property beckon for walking or sitting meditations. Email us for more information.
