COMMUNITY EVENTS
As we grow into this beautiful space, some wonderful outdoor (and indoor) activities are planned for this generous community. Some events are planned by partners and others are simply an invitation to show up at the barn, in the sanctuary, or quietly walking the pathways. All events are open to the public; please note where registration is required. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into this nature inspired community.
Join us and our friends at Hillsborough Wine Company, for a favorite beverage, and help raise funds for training future conservation leaders in green job skills. This fall, crews from the Conservation Corps NC will apprentice with Bluestem and expand their trail building expertise. They'll be clearing invasives, carving out new terrain for our woodland trails, and constructing bridges to cross our creeks. Hosting these environmental stewards allows us to share this sacred space with future leaders and brings more awareness to conservation burial. Click here for more details.

9:00-11:00AM Partner Hike at Bluestem
TLC and Eno River Association are the two conservation partners ensuring Bluestem's conservation cemetery with a conservation easement held over the entire 87 acres. Enjoy a hike led by TLC leaders and Bluestem volunteers through lovely fields, forests, streams, with benches to rest at by the pond and picnic tables around the property. Bluestem's trails are accessible to the public 365 days a year, and we welcome new trail lovers to our trail building team! Link here to register for the hike.

Forest Bathing at Bluestem
Mark your calendars! We will be hosting our very first, very special Forest Bathing exercise at Bluestem. This will be a 2.5-3 hour event planned especially for Bluestem volunteers who've been such an important part of building this special place.
